SENIOR COMMUNITY MANAGERS To become an Senior Community Manager at Smith Management Group a Community Manager must demonstrate their ability to meet the needs of the communities within their charge. They must meet the test of having exemplarily client retention for a period of more than three years and shown that that they can act as a resource to other community managers. Often Senior Community Managers and Community Managers act as a team to insure new clients smoothly transition into our management program.
COMMUNITY MANAGER Community Managers are the primary contact with Boards of Directors, Homeowners, and private contractors serving the association. This active position includes inspecting the assigned communities on a bi-weekly basis (or as agreed upon), initiating correspondence, assigning work orders and monitoring work, solicitation of bids, processing design review requests, preparation for and attending board meetings, preparation and presentation of Community Manager Reports, working hand-in-hand with an assigned community administrator.
COMMUNITY ADMINISTRATOR Community Administrators primarily have contact with Homeowners handling homeowner’s calls, interaction with title companies, create work orders, process design review requests, handle notices and violations. Competent computer skills and knowledge of the following programs would be helpful: Microsoft Word, Excel. Due to the high volume of correspondence it is necessary to have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in written forms.
ACCOUNTING/BOOKKEEPING The Accounting Staff are the resource to our ability to supply accounting services to our associations. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, maintenance of checking/savings accounts, production of financial reports, follow up on delinquent accounts, and interaction with CPA's during audits and reviews.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT different types of clerical positions. Some are clerical, involving: filing, routing, copying, and processing of mail/faxes in and out. Some are secretarial: receptionists, typing, processing of mailings, and other related functions. All of which require a competent and cheerful attitude. |
